Background
Beginning in January as superintendent of Bangs, Mr. Foster most recently served as superintendent of the Rising Star ISD, prior to becoming superintendent he served in all levels as principal in various districts over a fifteen year span. Before becoming a principal, Mr. Foster served as an agriculture science teacher for six years in east Texas.

Mr. Foster and his wife, Linda, have two children, a daughter Ashley who will graduate in May from Tarleton State University with a B.S. in Nursing and a son, Trey who is a freshman at Tarleton State University and is majoring in Drama/Theater. Mr. Foster's hobbies include hunting, fishing and golf. Mr. Foster has four horses, a herd of cattle and a one eyed pug named Molly.
