Members of the Bangs UIL Academic team competed in the last practice meet prior to district as they traveled to Abilene Cooper last Saturday.
This large meet featured more than 500 entries and competition from schools as large as 4A.
Bethany Kyle was the day's top performer as she earned 1st places in Persuasive Speaking and Headline Writing.
Jordan Tucker also earned gold winning News Writing.

Misti Blankenship: 6th-Poetry Interpretation
