	Welcome

Welcome to our class. My name is Clairissa Tucker. I graduated from McMurry University in 1981. I have a Master's degree from McNeese State University, Lake Charles, LA. I have taught first grade at Bangs for the past 17 years and am now teaching second grade. I feel that I am called to be a teacher. My goal each day is to help your child grow as a person through knowledge. I teach six subjects but my desire is to teach my students how to learn. I will provide the tools but they will do the work and reap the rewards.
I am married and have three sons and a daughter in law. We love music. Everyone in our family plays at least one instrument. We have several cats who have adopted us. I look forward to working with your children this year. You can contact me through my email by clicking the fish below.
