Welcome to my WEB Page!
I graduated with honors from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. I also attended Texas Woman's University where I received twelve advanced hours in Reading. My thirty-six years of teaching experience has been a blessing - thirty years at Bangs I. S. D. and six years at Rising Star I. S. D.
Bobby and I have been married thirty-eight years and have two children. Kialynn teaches second grade and is the elementary counselor at J. B. Stephens Elementary in Bangs and Ryan received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker College of Chiropractic . We have a wonderful son-in-Law, Clint, who is a master electrician. He and Kialynn have blessed us with two beautiful grandchildren. Kialie is in the third grade and Calan is 3. We also have a precious daughter-in-law, Leslie, who teaches at Carroll High School. We are excited that she is finally a Dragon!
It is a pleasure to teach your child in the Gifted and Talented Class. The goal of my G. T. Class is to challenge your child through Creative and Critical Thinking Skills, Bloom's Taxonomy, Independent Study, and Projects. I will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have about your child. My conference is from 10:05 - 11:05. You may call me at the school office at 752-7236 or email me by clicking on the link below.
